Sleeping too much
The
healthy ways to deal with stress are:
If the
methods you are using aren’t working out so it's time to change the strategy
and go for the healthier one. There are so many healthy ways to deal out with your
stress, but with a little change in your habit. Either you can change the actions or you can change the reactions. Because everybody has a
different way of dealing with stress so "no one strategy can work for all".
You have to find your best fit strategy
that can take you out of the stress and
make you feel relaxed and under control.
The 5 stress management strategies are:
1.
Stay away from the unnecessary
stress. You can't avoid all of the stress but some
of them you can. You can eliminate a number of stressors from your life, and they
are-
a.
Utter no - just stick to your limits and learn to
say no. Accepting work out of your limit is a straightaway invitation to the
stress.
b.
Avoid stressors - keep away from the
stressors that panic you, like try to avoid those people who create unhealthy
situations for you.
c.
Take the charge and control - Avoid the
busy routes, if any TV news is making you panic then turn it off, and if it is
the hustle and bustle that brings you under stress, then avoid doing things
like don’t go to the markets, just go online for all your shopping stuff.
d.
Make up your schedule - check out your
daily tasks, place the things to the top of the list that are most necessary to
do and dump the least necessary things to the bottom of the list.
2.
Situation Amendment. Change the situation if you can't avoid it. Just find out what to do
with the situation to avoid the problem to come pass again in the future. This
needs to change your way of communication, your attitude and how you deal up with
the situations. Try to express yourself instead of getting down by everyone. If
you are expecting a humble and nice behavior from the other person then you try
to do the same first. Just face the situations and deal with the problems.
3.
Acclimatize with the
stressors. Just by changing your prospects and
thoughts, you can adjust yourself to the stressful conditions. Try to see the
situations in a positive aspect and try to enjoy every moment of the day.
Always think of the big picture. Make a perception of the stressful situation,
just think how important the situation is, if it's not, then stop thinking
about it and devote your precious time to anywhere else. Just think of your
good time always.
4.
If you can't change the
things, accept them. Never try to get a hold on the
uncontrollable things. There are so many things in life that are out of our
control. You can't change the natural happenings like the death of the dear
one, illness etc. The best way to deal with these kinds of situations is to
accept them rather try to change them. Learn to forget and forgive.
5.
Make out for some pleasurable
time. Always encourage yourself for the good
things. Make yourself happy and make time for fun and relaxation.
