“If I could redo one choice in my life, I would choose
not to join an MNC,” says a former employee of a leading supermarket. His
life is all hampered by the useless rules and regulations of the organisation
and the recession that took what each and every person had. His employer left
him with almost no choice at all but to work and live with what all was left
with him.
Load but Don’t
Overload

| Load but don't overload! |
An employee in any organisation from the root level to
the top is like a building block. If any block loses its balance, the whole
organisation may crumble to pieces. Nowadays, the employees in the
organisations feel disengaged and wait for their day to get over so that they
can reach home and continue their monotonous life schedule. When a person joins
a company, he is motivated and has many hopes and expectations along with many new
ideas flowing in and out of his mind. But, as the time passes by, these hopes
and expectations succumb under the load of work.
What Are They
There For?
The employees in any organisation need to understand
their purpose in the organisation. They need to understand that any work they
do is for the benefit of the organisation and affects it in a positive manner.
When the employee sees his growth in the vision of the organisation, then only
he is able to contribute his whole towards the goal of the organisation.
What Must Be Done?
The benefit of any organisation lies within the best
interests of its employees. As long as the employees give their whole to the
company, the company progresses towards its goals. The employers should always
keep in mind the welfare of their employees while designing their plans of
action. The employers need to ensure that they reward the employees when they
do something good. They should always have a connection with their employees
which ensure that they have a sense of trust in the employer. There should not
be any communication gap.
